Multi-Mix S4 Premium Acrylic Thinner 5L – Spray Paint Reducer
Normal thinner in the market such as 2K universal thinner contains a mixture of solvents to keep the price at a certain point. Afterall, not everyone is willing to pay for the best quality thinner when a cheaper formulation will "do the job".
MULTI-MIX S4 Thinner is made using the same high grade solvent used in our C4 clearcoat. After realising the market that use our C4 clear are actually happy to pay for the better quality solvent we decided to do just this.
The benefits of using a high grade solvent is most importantly moisture content. Normal thinner is regulated to an extent but not all solvents have a regulated moisture content. The solvent used in S4 has a special C of A with every batch made to make sure it meets a set standard. It is good to note that any 2K isucyanate cured product would certainly benefit from a low moisture content thinner.
Solvents affect flow characteristics. The way solvents evaporate will change the way clearcoat lays down. This is due to how fast and slow the solvent evaporates.
